As part of our Food, Beverage and Consumer Goods team, you’ll help our customers connect business processes and leverage data-driven technology for better visibility, agility and responsiveness. As the Head of Business Consulting EMEA you will be part of TELUS Consumer Goods’ Global Services Team to ensure the optimal delivery of EMEA projects. You will ensure that the Business Consulting team deliver a professional, best-in-class service to our clients and that the team grows in-line with the overall business. This is also very much a client facing role where the individual will be involved in projects from initiation to completion, duties including requirement scoping and capture, solution design and configuration, documentation, introducing best practice where appropriate and supporting the client through UAT and Go-live until handed over to support.

This role has the following main areas of focus:
- Line manage a small team of Business consultants within the EMEA team, providing mentorship and ensuring team members achieve their maximum capability.
- Provide expert business consultancy to large, complex projects or multi-market programs, maintaining strong customer relationships by understanding their business needs & motivations.
- Work towards agreed objectives, including: Delivery of team utilisation targets; Team growth and improvements; Successful delivery of agreed projects; Project profitability.
- Collaborate with other Team Leaders within the Global Professional Services Team to improve overall delivery capabilities
What you bring to this role
- Possess a thorough understanding of consumer goods businesses and their commercial and financial processes.
- Strong working experience in a Business Consulting role within software, including exposure to Trade Promotion Management/Optimisation tools.
- Experience in mentoring Business Consultants and people growth techniques.
- Driven, forward thinking and practical, with ability to engage with clients and influence Team Members.
- Knowledge of techniques for requirements gathering and capture
- Ability to utilise best practise to challenge and influence the client through your
- Industry knowledge and experience.
- Ideally, experience of delivering multi-market/global software solutions.
