As part of our Food, Beverage and Consumer Goods team, you’ll help our customers connect business processes and leverage data-driven technology for better visibility, agility and responsiveness.

The Senior Customer Development Manager reports to Head of Customer, APAC of TELUS Consumer Goods and acts as one of the key operators within the Sales & Customer Team, responsible for key customer growth. The role is focused on EMEA and TPx and Retail Execution products which may
expand over time. The Senior Customer Development Manager should be experienced in working with large complex clients with multiple stakeholders and worked in a software / services provider.

Here’s how

  • Create robust annual customer plans targeting revenue growth with clearly defined actions to execute with alignment across Sales, Services, Support, Infrastructure and Product
  • Develop both short term and long term opportunities aligned to customer needs to meet revenue targets
  • Proactively manage the communication process including cadence based on the value / size / key account status across all customers to assess their level of satisfaction with TELUS and ability to use as a reference site.
  • Establish multiple contacts within the organization to ensure engagement continues regardless of client resource churn.
  • Advance and close sales opportunities through the successful execution of the sales campaigns
  • Manage face to face meetings during all phases of the sales cycle and update company and sales systems and reports as directed
  • Understand and be able to effectively communicate our advantages over the competition
  • Work with Product Strategy to identify new propositions and offers so that it they are aligned to each client’s business and needs

What you bring to this role

  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets from selling SaaS and associated services into large corporate organisations
  • Results driven, with the ability to maintain high energy levels and results driven
  • Excellent verbal communication, written and presentation skills, independent and self-motivated
  • Experience of the Consumer Goods / Retail industry an advantage
  • Strong organization skills that include prioritizing tasks, creating and keeping deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Consultancy based sales approach, with a consistent history of proven quota attainment, strong closing skills, territory management,
    negotiation, and product knowledge
  • Strong business relationships and network
  • Ability to travel to customer sites (20 to 40%)
