Here's how
- Assist in the end-to-end cycle of post-close activities to support acquisition integration from legacy into TAC/TELUS.
- Support legacy financial accounting data mapping to TAC Financial Systems – Chart of Accounts, Subledger details, and historical data.
- Help align historical financial data to Canada IFRS, identify deviations, and apply adjustments.
- Assist with data load requirements meeting with the acquiring company – Sub ledger (AP, AR), Vendor, COGs, Deferred Revenue Waterfall, etc.
- Partner with cross-functional finance leads to support the integration of the back-office finance functions into the TAC processes/policies.
- Coordinate with finance cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve acquisition issues.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Works independently, with attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Prepares and clearly communicates analyses and findings to senior leaders.
- Strong conceptual thinking, time management, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the role
- 3+ yrs of Experience working in Mergers, Acquisition & Integration REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or in a directly related field.
- Experience working with precision, accuracy, and compliance in all financial activities.
- Strong experience and knowledge of accounting topics for global business.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives.
- Dynamic, innovative, and problem resolution focused.
- Agility to work in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment and adapt and lead through change.
- Ability to immerse oneself to understand problems and propose solutions.
- Ability to effectively work in a multi-location organization and adapt to different cultures.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
- Prior experience with SaaS business is preferred.
