We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Customer Service & Warehouse Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and support our veterinary services. This role requires someone who is comfortable with physical work, has a keen eye for detail, and can provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.

What you’ll do

  • Engage with clients over the phone, ensuring their orders are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Assist clients who visit in person, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to pick and verify client orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to receive and organize incoming products, maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Drive short to medium distances daily to deliver client orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Support veterinarians with surgery suite maintenance and other tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Ensure veterinary laundry is cleaned and ready for use.

What you bring

  • Experience working with cattle is a definite asset but not necessarily required.
  • Class 5 driver's license and willingness to drive short to medium distances daily.
  • Some experience with computer software in a Windows environment.
  • Familiarity with the agriculture industry and comfort with challenging work conditions.
  • Ability to lift and push up to 50 lb and work for extended hours in all weather conditions.
  • Regular hours are 9am to 5pm, but willingness to work past 5pm to complete daily tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to work outside at all times of the year.

Great-to-haves

  • Familiarity with veterinary practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and its maintenance.
  • Experience in a customer service role, particularly in an agricultural or veterinary setting.
