Within the newly created Customer Experience Excellence (CEE) team, we are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end customer support experience and driving operational excellence across the value chain. We have consolidated operational teams from all our TAC entities alongside a number of customer success primes and managed service teams, and have a focus on elevating the customer experience from farmers to multinational consumer goods corporations, digitally transforming our business, elevating our team and high-performance culture, and oscillating between transformation and growth.

The Product Release Director is responsible for overseeing the entire product release process, ensuring product release readiness, orchestrating effective communications, leading successful product launches, and managing a team of product experts who act as a field force multiplier. This role is pivotal in aligning product development outcomes with market needs, company strategy, and customer expectations.

Here’s How

  • Oversee the product release lifecycle from planning to launch, including setting timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies for product release readiness, ensuring products meet quality, compliance, and market fit criteria.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of go-to-market strategies, coordinating with marketing, sales, product management, and development teams.
  • Manage communications related to product releases, ensuring clear, timely, and effective messaging to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  • Direct the activities of product experts who engage with the field and act as force multipliers, ensuring their efforts are aligned with product and company goals.
  • Facilitate a feedback loop between customers, field teams, and the product development team, leveraging insights to inform product strategy and improvements.
  • Monitor and report on the success of product launches, using performance data to make informed decisions on future releases and strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity within the product team and across the organization.


What you bring to this role

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in product management, product marketing, or product development, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex product information to a wide range of audiences.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive product vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies and familiarity with software development cycles is preferred.
